How long does it take you to do a sculpture? A couple of weeks usually.
Faster if a deadline is looming.
Q. What materials do you use? Pretty much exclusively Castilene.
Q. Do you paint them yourself? Not often. My original designs I
paint, but only because I've no idea what colors will work until they're
done.

Where do you get your ideas? Anywhere. TV, nature, movies, toys,
books.
Q. Who has inspired you as an artist? Bernini, Takeya, Erte, Norman
Rockwell, Giuseppi Armani.
Q. What's your favorite piece? It's usually whichever is newest.
Right now I'd have to say Calliope. She turned out pretty much exactly
like I envisioned her.

What got you started sculpting? I started sculpting when I was about
3 years old. I started sculpting professionally when it became clear
that I wasn't going to be able to get work as a comic book penciller.
I also really didn't want to be an attorney.

What are your hobbies? None at the moment. My work and family take
all my time.
